Reutzel and RSR score back-to-back top-tens in WoO Knoxville double; Arrowhead and Texas ahead

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

KNOXVILLE, Iowa (April 27, 2026) - On the whole, it was a sound weekend at the Sprint Car Capital of the World for “A-Aron” Aaron Reutzel and Ridge & Sons Racing (RSR), translating back-to-back World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series starts into back-to-back top-ten finishes, highlighting their invasion of Knoxville Raceway with a two-spot jump to sixth on Friday, April 24.

Nearly matching his outcome from night one, Reutzel, a full-time High Limit Racing championship contender aboard the Power Plus, Folkens Brothers Trucking, Don Long & STC, B And L Holdings, Rasmusson Service Center, Bargain Barn, No. 87 sprinter, raced on to finish eighth in Knoxville’s doubleheader finale, maintaining his place within the top-ten after commencing action from the outside of row three. It should be noted that over 60 entries made the call - a Nationals-like caliber of competitors.

Although Reutzel’s results will not help nor hurt his High Limit Racing title chase, the laps at Knoxville Raceway will prove vital, as the Clute, Texas, native sets aim on a Knoxville Nationals title in mid-August.

“Every lap at Knoxville Raceway is important, and we’ll take all that we can get,” Ryan Wyant, RSR Team Manager, said. “Aaron [Reutzel] certainly knows his way around Knoxville and he proved that yet again. The weekend attracted the best cars in the country, so there was no better way to judge where we are as a team. We’ll be back soon enough with all eyes on August. But for now, we’ll get our focus back to High Limit.”

ON DECK:
Aaron Reutzel and Ridge & Sons Racing will continue their 2026 Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing campaign with a one-night visit to Arrowhead Speedway in Colcord, Oklahoma, on Tuesday, April 28, followed by a Texas Motor Speedway doubleheader on Thursday and Saturday, April 30 and May 2.

2026 RSR STATS:
Wins: 2
Top-Fives: 6
Top-Tens: 9
